This is one person who is considering purchasing Arttystation.
There are many models of ArtStation, but by my standards, it is very confusing to choose from several models as some of them do not fit me.
1. Too many features
-Especially in the case of a runner holder, it is included in all models, but it is not very good in terms of effectiveness. The percentage of the area occupied is quite high
Personally, I was trying to find a model without a runner holder, so all of them have a holder.
2. Problems of paint storage box
-In the case of the paint storage box, the amount that can be stored is limited even by opera standards. Actually, many modelers have lacquer and enamel by default,
The biggest problem is the storage of paint when it comes to color in empty bottles.
Even if you say that it can't be helped in case 1
Case 2 seems to be a common problem for all modelers. So, it would be really nice to make a paint cabinet.
There seems to be a number of problems in the case of conventional paint cabinets.
1. Drawer storage: too inconvenient to find and store paint
2. Bookshelf storage: It looks good when stored in a straight line, but space is wasted severely if there are two or more lines of paint or different sizes.
3. Stepped storage: It is easy to find paint and looks good, but when expanding more than a few steps, space is wasted seriously, so there is a limit to expandability
Because of the above three storage methods, I usually prefer to store the paint bottle at an angle.
There is a problem here, too, that the paint size is different and you have to make it separately to make it the desired height and width.
So the way I think is as follows.
1. Expandable base
2. Use of paint plate module
The two modules above are used to create an expandable conductor cabinet.
-Expandable base
It's basically a board made of plywood used in Arttystation. There is a joint that can be expanded in all directions, so it would be nice if the user could customize it.
-Paint plate module (for paint cabinet)
In the case of a paint plate, you cannot use the existing paint plate. Because it must be tilted, it must be blocked and implemented in a way that is pulled out and used.
As with the existing paint plate, it is enamel, lacquer-type toning, empty bottle, and free storage at the bottom.
In the case of the free retractable type, if there are few paint bottles, it is more likely to fall to the side, so it is not completely pierced, but a certain part is pierced.
-Example of combining base and paint module
From the side, it looks like this. There are several grooves on the base to insert the paint module, and the user can select and insert the paint module.
User convenience is good and expandability is good because the desired module can be optionally inserted in the desired location.
The one above was drawn with a simple paint board, so I don't know if the paint will stick without any problems.
Probably, if there are holes such as enamel or lacquer paint, there will be no problem. This is the idea that you have to actually make a product.
If there is a problem with the product above, I think you can think of the following as well...
Basically, it is the same that it can be expanded, and it is a style that stably stores paint by inserting a paint base rather than a paint module.
In this case, the advantage is that the paint can be stored stably, and it is possible to selectively utilize the height of the base.
Personally, the first one looks better, but it looks more practical and stable.
Anyway, please make a paint cabinet ㅠ
