While using 3D printers, I didn't care much about surface processing or painting.
As I recently made Great Mazinger to my nieces, I thought it would be better to paint.
What I gave to the kids was what I gave, and I wanted to make one of mine by painting it nicely (?). :-)
By the way, the smell of thinner that is unavoidably followed by painting...
You can work without smell by brushing on acrylic paint only when you paint.
When it comes to puttying or spraying a surfacer, there is no way.
If you ask the paint somewhere else, it's okay to just put it in one big box and spray it.
The smell was really unpredictable.
Eventually, they came to the conclusion that they needed a painting booth that could remove the smell immediately.
The first product I was thinking about was the painting booth included in the Mon*ter full package that I saw when considering purchasing a full set of painting equipment...
As far as the smell is a big problem, I decided it was important to know how powerful and sure the performance of the exhaust fan was, but I couldn't figure out what the fan was, no matter how much I looked at the product I was considering. I was worried that it would be a normal DC fan even if I was going.
Besides, the rechargeable airbrush is in stock now, so the charm of the full package has disappeared.
Then I found a painting booth at Arttystation.
Articles in fact was just coming into the eye price (only $ 36 thousand won!), Add a door here and acrylic (15,000), add the switch (12,500), add filters, and (5, 17,500), decisively With the addition of the most important exhaust fan set (59,000!!!), it is slightly more expensive than the product I thought earlier... :-)
However, this is a sirocco fan with a very certain exhaust fan . Things end there.
I ordered it and it came very soon... I ordered it on November 1st and picked it up the next day, November 2nd.
In the past, I didn't place an order because I had to wait for a while trying to order a full package.
So, as soon as I received it on the 2nd, I picked up a rubber mallet and assembled it.
Assembling was pretty easy, and the power of the sirocco fan was soldered to the switch and it was easy to finish...
Unfortunately there is no picture of the assembly process...;
After the assembly is finished, it is quite small and nice.
If it's big, it would be very difficult to put it...
The reason I like this small thing is that I have this shape of space to use.
In addition, since the space box under the painting booth must be accessible, it must be small and light so that it can be used while listening, which is very satisfactory. :-)
Below is a cut while working on a surface.
If you put the acrylic cover on, it will be like that, but it's good that you don't have to worry about splashing sideways when spraying paint or surfacer.
It would have been better if it was retractable, but well... If you need it, you can attach the hinge yourself, so I just want to. hehe
It is very satisfactory since it is possible to work without worrying about odors since the painting booth was provided.
Then let's make the Great Mazinger.
